Beautiful solid silver butterfly brooch, the body set with a garnet, the pierced wings infilled with plique a jour enamel and set with marcasite.

Very well made , with full English hallmark from the London Assay office, (not just stamped 925, like some silver articles we have seen advertised as hallmarked, 925 is NOT a hallmark).

Fitted with quality rollover safety clasp.

The butterfly in jewellery has always been used to symbolise freedom and liberation, traditionally worn to remind Christians of the amazing transformation that takes place through Christs redemption and regeneration.
